Annotation:

The choice of this theme was dictated by the necessity of preparing natural hydrocarbon base in the northern territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory due to the shelf projects development. The authors of the article propose the prospect for assessing hydrocarbons resource amount based on studying the geological composition of the Mesozoic-Paleozoic complex of sediments of the East Kara potential oil and gas area (POGA) and the Mountain Taimyr and the ways of expansion of the hydrocarbons resource base of the northern territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory due to the shelf projects development. In addition to the Mesozoic-Paleozoic sediments in the territory under study, the delta sediment permafrost conditions in the Yenisei, Pyasinskiy and Taimyr bays, the methods used for studying aqueous methane hydrates, data on the planned projects for the preparation and transportation of hydrocarbon raw materials in the northern latitudes of the Krasnoyarsk Territory are of great interest. A factual analysis was carried out using geological, geophysical and geochemical information to study the Mesozoic-Paleozoic sediments of the territory under study. While writing the article, the authors studied the published literature on the subject and key fund sources with the results of the studies previously carried out by different scientific teams with proposals for the development of projects for the northern Arctic territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
