Annotation:

The efficiency of field development depends directly on drilling, which involves not only the correct placement of the wellbore grid, but also the quality of wellbore guidance through the reservoir, especially for horizontal wells. In this regard, geologists are increasingly faced with the task of taking into account data on horizontal wellbores in 3D geological models. Documents regulating the accounting of such wells in three-dimensional models have not been developed yet; the problem is also complicated by a decrease in the volume of drilling of pilot boreholes, due to which data on horizontal sections become important for exploration the structure of the drilling area, as well as for refining the forecast and design of subsequent wells.

The relevance of this work is to improve drilling efficiency by clarifying the structure of the reservoir (target interval) and, as a consequence, to increase the reliability of ideas about the current structure of reserves and improve the predictive ability of hydrodynamic models (HDM).
