Annotation:

The authors of the article consider the problems of deep formation and replenishment of hydrocarbon reserves and reflection of these processes on geophysical materials in various regions of the world. The novelty of the research lies in the integrated approach to the problem of generation, formation and deformation of hydrocarbon accumulations in the Earth’s crust interior from the standpoint of modern theories and concepts. Based on the comparison of highly productive oil and gas diapir structures of the Terek and Sunzhenskaya anticlinal zones and the Absheron Peninsula, it was revealed that in the Terek-Sunzhenskaya folded zone clay diapirism is more expressed, and mud volcanism is characterized by underdevelopment, while in Azerbaijan it is manifested more clearly. The main specific features of the geological structure that stimulate active fluid-dynamic processes in different regions are noted.
