High water cut of the extracted products during development of oil fields requires application of methods for limiting water inflow into wells. In this work the prospects of impact of thermotropic sediment-forming compositions on formations of Tyumen suite for increase of their oil recovery are estimated on the basis of results of laboratory experiments. The studied compositions are a mixture of sulfamic acid and calcium chloride, from the aqueous solution of which under formation conditions crystals of calcium sulfate are formed, which clog the most washed intervals. Increase of temperature leads to significant increase of the volume of the formed sediment and decrease of duration of sedimentation. It was established that reagent solutions during impact on the formation model are characterized at the initial stage by long induction period before the beginning of sedimentation and high filterability in a porous medium, and at the final stage as a result of clogging of pore space of rocks, they significantly reduce phase permeability for water and contribute to increase of oil displacement coefficient.
