Annotation:

The article analytically overviews the trends in the use of hydraulic and pneumatic actuators in drilling and oil and gas equipment on the example of the existing industry mechanisms used to perform various technological operations. It is shown that the hydraulic energy of the working environment is used to a greater extent in the drives, as well as the mixed - pneumatic-hydraulic energy, which allows effective control of the actuators.
