In conditions of depletion of traditional hydrocarbon reserves, unconventional and hard-to-recover oil and gas reserves are a promising source of maintenance and growth of production of world oil and gas companies. A characteristic feature of such reserves is the deterioration of their structure - the high dissection and low permeability of oil-saturated sand bodies, together with the multi-layer composition of the reservoir, create difficulties in the development of the field. One of such problems is planning of new wells and sidetracks commissioning. Predicting the starting parameters and the rate of decline in wells’ fluid flow rates is an integral part of planning production levels for the considered development target and the entire field. That is why special attention should be paid to the accuracy of these forecasts, which, in its turn, depends on the weak points of the approaches and calculation methods applied, as well as on the human factor. Based on the analysis of the existing relevant approaches to assessing effective permeability based on production data, it was decided to develop an automated approach to assessing the effective permeability of multilayer complex low-permeability fields based on production data. The paper describes the developed methodology, including all integrated algorithms, optimization criteria, and accepted assumptions. All calculations were performed for the AS10-12 development object of the Priobskoye field. Brief results of the work are presented like constructed maps of effective permeability for each of the eight layers. The methodology is supplemented by the previously developed methods and algorithms for analytical assessment of reservoir incoherence, which gives additional possibilities for calculating incoherence parameters. The obtained results were compared with the results of parallel studies of the rate of decline in the fluid flow rate of the wells of the specified development target, correlations were found between the rate of decline in the fluid rate at a certain date and the parameters of the reservoir heterogeneity, which can be considered a successful verification of the developed method. Thus, on the basis of the developed methodology, an approach is proposed to assess the effective permeability of multilayer complexly-composed low-permeable fields based on production data. This approach use will allow Rosneft getting additional profit by reducing lost profits due to the incorrect planning of geological-technical measures related to the commissioning of new wells and sidetracking.
