EVALUATION OF THE WELL PRODUCT WATER CUT DETERMINATION METHOD BY THE BEHAVIOR OF ELECTRIC CENTRIFUGAL PUMP (ESP) MOTOR LOADING DURING ESP OPERATION IN A SHORT-TIME PERIODICAL MODE

Annotation:

Performed the of the accuracy of the well water cut determination method by the behavior of ESP motor current load during ESP operation in a short-time periodical mode is evaluated. It was shown that, under certain conditions, the described method makes it possible to determine the current water cut of the well with an accuracy of up to 10 % without conducting a laboratory study of the sample. Recommendations on the method applicability limits are given, as well as its advantages and potential opportunities of field application are shown.
