Annotation:

The article describes a method for modeling water shut-off works in a well using a hydrodynamic 3D sector model based on predicting the composition penetration into the bottomhole zone. The simulation of waterproof screen creation was carried out on the basis of invasive percolation in the Matlab software. A numerical model by tNavigator sofware was used as a base for hydrodynamic modeling. The results show the possibility of using this approach to simulate the effectiveness of water shut-off works.
