Annotation:

Development of fields with high-viscous oil, in conditions of traditional reserves depletion, is becoming increasingly important. However, the costs of "heavy" oil recovery are 3...4 times higher than the costs of "light" oil extraction. In this regard, the search of new technologies aimed at increasing the efficiency of "heavy" oil fields development is a priority trend of the oil industry development. The article presents the results of studying the thermal-rheological properties of formation fluids using the WaxFlowLoop installation. These fluids were sampled at various objects of a group of high-viscosity oil fields in the Perm region. As a result of the studies carried out, it becomes possible to assess the nature and degree of change of these fluids rheological properties due to the temperature change. It is shown that their significant cooling makes the law of dynamic viscosity change exponential. Thanks to this study, it becomes possible to most correctly estimate the temperature of structural phase transitions of high-viscosity oil, make conclusions about the applicability of classical methods of oil fields development. The most correct modeling of the high-viscous oil production process will allow assessment of the possibility of using standard electric centrifugal or sucker rod pumps.
