Annotation:

The use of horizontal wells with multi-stage hydraulic fracturing is becoming an increasingly common practice when developing oil and gas fields. It occurs due to the constant decline of reserves quality, which requires the application of technologies that maximize the contact of the well bottom with productive reservoir thickness.

Despite the widespread use of hydrodynamic modeling instruments of fields development, the use of analytical formulas for calculating the flow rate of a horizontal well with multi-stage hydraulic fracturing is convenient, firstly, because of the almost instantaneous predictive calculation of wells productivity of this type of completion and, secondly, due to the use of analytical calculation as a verification instrument of simulation modeling results.

The article provides the derivation of analytical formulas for the oil and gas inflow to a horizontal well with a multi-stage hydraulic fracturing using the introduced concepts of the imaginary dimensionless radius of the hydraulic fracturing ellipse and the imaginary dimensionless radius of the ellipse of a horizontal well with a multi-stage hydraulic fracturing.
