Annotation:

The legislative acts of the Russian Federation established the requirements for the oil accounting rules which include provisions governing the collection, registration, generalization and documentation of the information on the amount of oil produced. Due to the presence of dissolved gas in the well fluid, the relevant regulations contain instructions on the procedure for determining the appropriate correction factors. However, as it is proved by field experience, the current practice of applying correction factors is imperfect and requires adaptation with account of actual field data, depending on the oil composition. Using the fields of the West Siberian region as an example, the authors of the article present the results of laboratory studies for determining the correction factors values that take into account the dissolved gas presence of in wells production.
