Annotation:

The article is aimed at determining the dependences of the sedimentation stability of polymer-dispersed systems on such indicators as the physical size of filler particles, their bulk density and the viscosity characteristics of the prepared systems. The different influence of the sizes of flour and chalk particles on the fillers deposition rate has been determined. The relationship between the particles deposition rate and their sizes is monitored for fillers based on wood flour, for chalk this dependence is weakly expressed. The addition of polymer additives to the formulation, in most cases, has a positive effect on the stability of only the highly dispersed phase of the fillers. These factors complicate the processes of preparation and application of the technologies for enhanced oil recovery, without ensuring uniform distribution of the reinforcing filler over the entire volume of the dispersed medium. As a result of the application of injection by rims inside the target object of impact, a water-separation barrier is formed that is not uniform in filling and in its strength characteristics, which can affect the quality of its formation and the duration of the effect. The prerequisites for the possibility of using filler particles with hydrophobic properties are considered, which can positively affect both the sedimentation stability of systems and the uniformity of the distribution of reinforcing filler particles throughout the entire volume, which will lead to an increase in the quality and strength characteristics of the emerging system.
