Annotation:
The article discusses the experience of PJSC "LUKOIL" in the "smart field" project. The main stages of the project are described and the issue of using the integrated model for various purposes is highlighted.
According to the POPIT methodology, aspects of digital technologies introduction in the management of an oil and gas company are presented and areas for improvement are identified.
The issues of a field digitalization, the use of advanced information technologies are considered. The introduction of "smart" tools helps to increase the efficiency of oil and gas assets development however, without conducting organizational changes, transformation of business processes, improving the quality of initial data, building competencies among employees of the enterprise, the "digital tool" does not create additional value for the company.
