Use of modified displacement and flooding characteristics to evaluate introduced and accumulated water volumes in a deposit and initial oil reserves

Annotation:

Based on the modified displacement characteristics (MDC) and flooding (MCF) based on the Buckley – Leverett model and the material balance equation, the article proposes methods for calculating the accumulated volumes of intruded Qin_wt and water W remaining in the deposit, as well as oil reserves Qn initial, a certain proportion of which is classified as mobile Qn movable in the implemented system of deposit development. Methods for estimating the value of Qn movable are based on the MDC Rl(Ql), and Ql initial – on the MHF Rf(Qin wt). Theoretical calculations are confirmed by actual data obtained during the operation of a number of production wells and one of the deposits in the whole of field N. The relationship and some features of the behavior of the modified displacement and flooding characteristics are established, which make it possible to improve the accuracy of the predictive indicators of the deposits development in the late and final stages of their operation.
