Annotation:

At present, the use of capacitance-resistance models (CRM) is becoming more and more widespread, which are an effective tool for the rapid assessment of technological indicators of development and water-flooding optimization. The article compares the results of modeling a complexly composed oil field, characterized by significant heterogeneity in permeability and the presence of impermeable faults, based on a three-dimensional hydrodynamic model in the tNavigator and CRM simulator. It is shown that without additional information about the features of the geological structure, the well allocation factors are characterized by anomalous values there occur fluid flow through impermeable faults. Taking into account the information about impermeable faults in the model, it becomes possible to achieve satisfactory convergence of the results and recommend the considered model for decision-making when optimizing water-flooding.
