Features of forecasting the need of spare parts for oil-field equipment

Annotation:

The article is devoted to the problem of forecasting the need for spare parts, taking into account the conditions and features of drilling and oilfield installations operation. Based on the reliability laws theory, a technique is presented that takes into account the relationship between the resource of the equipment component parts and the distribution parameters of individual elements. The expediency of applying a unified law of probabilities distribution of the operational life-time of elements failure-free operation is substantiated.

The optimal range and number of spare parts are determined on the basis of ensuring their sufficiency, which excludes of mobile equipment downtime at the points of operation due because of the lack of the appropriate spare parts.

The developed technique makes it possible to evaluate the achieved level of reliability by reducing the ratio τv /Т as a result of improving the structural components with subsequent analysis and comparison of the ratio τv /Т with the data on the most advanced components to identify the overall effect and feasibility of structures further modernization.
