Annotation:

During the operation of wells there occurs an increase of water due to the breakthrough of bottom waters (formation of a water cone), in-situ cross-flow or a breakthrough of waters injected by the reservoir pressure maintenance system. This problems successful solution requires development of waterproofing works (WPW). In turn, waterproofing works require cost-effective and efficient technologies. In oil producing companies, work was carried out on the selection and testing of various water-proof compositions based on hypan, aluminum chloride, oil-bitumen products, sodium silicate and emulsion compositions. WPW technologies using emulsion compositions (SNPKh-9633, GER, etc.) have a number of disadvantages: high cost of the technology implementation, low resistance to pressure drops. This article presents the results of testing the WPW technology based on reagents of domestic large-scale chemical production.
