The results of hydraulic fracturing in the middle carboniferous deposits of a number of small oil companies in the Republic of Tatarstan

Annotation:

Small oil companies of the Tatarstan Republic were created to develop low-productive small oil fields, mainly with reserves in carbonate formations. Initially, the low productivity of carbonate reservoirs, which decreases over time, requires using formations’ effective stimulation technologies, especially the Vereiskian and the Bashkirian stages. The results of trial hydrocarbon fracturing of formations (HFF) conducted by oil companies in the region prompted the development of formations hydraulic fracturing and multi-stage formations’ hydraulic fracturing technologies in conjunction with infilling drilling. An analytical search is underway for the factors that ensure maximum flow rates after hydraulic fracturing of a formation. Proppant HFF shows better results than acidic ones. Horizontal wells with multi-stage hydraulic fracturing of a formation in the Vereiskian stage allowed increasing the fields’ development rate.
