Annotation:

The paper presents the results of investigations of heavy crude oil rheological properties from the Akanskoye field. The wellhead samples from three wells were studied to get insight into the factors controlling the rheology of high-viscous crude oil. The laboratory tests included analyses of viscosity–shear rate and viscosity–shear stress relationships at 20; 30 and 40 °C.
