Annotation:
Due to the tendency of deterioration of the involved reserves structure, there occurs a necessity of looking for new technologies and innovative solutions that allow increasing the efficiency of low-productive reservoirs development located in complicated geological conditions. One of the directions for optimizing the development system is the use of complex architecture wells – horizontal and multi-hole wells that eventually passed into the category of an ordinary logical technological solution in conditions of low-productive reservoirs development characterized by low filtration-capacitance properties and oil-saturated thicknesses.
Improvement and complication of a well completion design allows providing a larger contact area with the productive reservoir, increasing coverage, drainage radius, well productivity, a more efficient oil inflow out of the reservoir, increasing the profitability of drilling and involving in the development of such areas, drilling of which was planned only in the long term.
At the same time, the evolution of wells architecture complexity and the accumulated field experience, acquired lately, can serve as a fairly reliable reference base when choosing the most effective wells design, depending on geological conditions.
