Annotation:
The efficiency of developing a petroleum facility is largely determined by the balance of oil and gas extractions as well as the degree of reserves involvement in the development. For objects with hard-to-recover reserves, in order to engage undrained oil reserves, it is necessary to use non-standard development strategies that take into account both geological features and technological capabilities, and technical and economic limitations.
Analysis of the current state of development and understanding of the processes occurring as a result of gas and oil facilities development are key factors when justifying optimal solutions making aimed at increasing efficiency.
The authors of the article evaluate the results of the implemented development system effectiveness for a group of objects, characterized by contact oil and gas reserves availability in the Perm region. One of the main problems for the fields discussed is the weak involvement of oil reserves into development, complicated by the hydrodynamic connection between the oil and gas parts of the deposits.
Using the example of a section of the C1tl (Tl2-a + Tl2-b) terrigenous gas-oil object, the existing development system was analyzed. The permeability distribution over the area was assessed taking into account the geophysical research data. Some methods have been proposed for non-drainable reserves involvement by compacting the well pattern in the zones with reduced areal permeability. For wells located in the gas cap localization zone, the operational mode change was assessed in order to regulate the extraction of gas from the gas cap through the oil wells fund. The effectiveness of proposed targeted measures was analyzed on the basis of hydrodynamic modeling, taking into account a technical and economic assessment.
