Annotation:

Due to the large number of uncertainties in the creation of reservoir geological-hydrodynamic models, there exist a number of risks that can affect the forecast indicators of development, the calculation of the field arrangement, economic indicators as well as the adoption of the correct investment decision-making. The authors of the article, using the example of a complexly-composed oil reservoir of the Cretaceous complex in the Gulf of Mexico, consider the experience of applying the PRMS methodology, which allows taking into account the identified uncertainties, predicting in advance and managing risks when developing a field. An economic express-assessment is proposed for selecting the most profitable development options, which allows reducing the number of cases under consideration and thereby reducing the resources expended.
