A review of the methods applied to determine fracture zones the parameters when assessing cracks filtration properties, taking into account geological-geophysical data of the complexly-composed Riphean carbonate reservoir of the Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye field

Annotation:
The Eastern Siberia still remains one of the key regions of the Russian Federation in the field of oil and gas production. Particularly attractive for oil specialists is the production of oil and gas from carbonate reservoirs. In the Eastern Siberia, fields with carbonate reservoirs are most popular in the Leno-Tunguska oil- and gas-bearing province, the Yurubcheno-Tokhomsk oil and gas accumulation zone and the Nepsko-Botuobinskaya oil and gas region. These are the regions that the most promising fields are located, such as Kuyumbinskoye, Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye as well as Verkhnechonskoye, Srednebotuobinskoye, Talakanskoye, Mogdinsky, Nizhnenepsky, Danilovsky license areas, etc., which were recently introduced into full-scale geological exploration and development. The authors of the article focus on the Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye oil and gas condensate field, one of the largest fields not only in the Eastern Siberia but also in the Russian Federation. It is confined to the oldest Riphean carbonate rocks, which are unique in their own way and have no analogues in the world.
The authors also analyze modern methods that are applied to localize fracture zones by using modern geological-geophysical research methods, the result of which will serve provide an assessment of a fractured reservoir properties, determination of their spatial direction by means of building a rose diagram. Conclusions are made based on the results of the work and methodological recommendations are given for further research.
