Annotation:
Modern experience of wells construction in the Kolvinsky mega-swell stresses the necessity of technological solutions complex optimization, aimed at complications such as washing fluid absorption and unstable rock piling in the Triassic and Permian sediments.
The authors of the article discuss the ways of solving problems related to sediments instability when drilling for 244.5 mm intermediate casing in the tectonic region of the Kolvinsky mega-swell. The results of drilling of 12 production directional wells under the section under consideration are analyzed and complications and reasons for their occurrence are highlighted. Based on the successful experience of wells construction, the criteria for accident-free drilling of production wells in the fields of the Kolvinsky mega-swell were formed.
