Annotation:

There occurs gradual accumulation of facts (replenishment of reserves from long-exploited deposits, discrepancy between the duration of field operation and estimated reserves, pulsating well flow rates), which indicate modern processes of oil and gas generation and replenishment of deposits by newly incoming portions of hydrocarbons. The established facts of oil and gas reserves replenishment at the fields, being developed, along with other noted evidence, indicate the fact that the processes of generation, migration of oil and gas and formation (reformation) of deposits occur much faster than was previously expected - within a few years, and sometimes even in a few months. The authors of the article consider the main features and stages of renewable deposits formation, the location of oil- and gas-bearing basins with renewable deposits as well as the principles of assessing the resource potential and approaches to the development of such hydrocarbon systems.
