Annotation:

The article describes an approach to describing oil-water emulsions viscosity of different temperatures and water fractions using polynomial models. The existing models are considered, the limits of their applicability are determined. The accuracy of models for various oils differing in density, sulfur content, resins, asphaltenes and paraffins is compared. The dependence of the models accuracy on these parameters is determined, the optimal values at which the greatest accuracy of the models is achieved are determined.
