Annotation:

The article presents one of the ways to increase the efficiency of well construction by optimizing the process of complete hauling of the traveling rope, which is the use of a modern traction device for splicing the traveling rope. This device has a rotating mechanism, which eliminates the risk of torsional dynamic loads on the traveling system when transferring to the winch drum, which can ultimately lead to twisting of the traveling block and resulting in unproductive time. The article presents the experience of using this device for splicing a traveling rope at the Vinno-Bannovskoye field on the ZJ-40 drilling rig. The work also presents the main problems in the operation of traveling ropes, calculation of operating time, and also highlights problems with planned and full re-haulings.
