Annotation:

One of the effective measures to increase the oil recovery volume from a reservoir is carrying out waterproofing works (WPW). The most important criterion of WPW success is the correct choice of a composition. The article discusses gel-forming compositions, methods of their preparation and the possibility of their adaptation to the object of influence under consideration. Studies have been carried out to determine the main properties of compositions, the resulting gels and their comparative characteristics.
