The seismogeological analysis (SGA) service helps improving the efficiency of horizontal wells drilling. The work is conducted in close collaboration with a team of geo-navigators and the geological service of drilling companies. At the retrospective stage of work, SGA specialists create and/or update a seismic geological model for an area of interest to plan drilling. That makes it possible to identify sweet spot areas as wells as criteria for horizontal wells planning and zones of risks and uncertainties in order to avoid geological-technical complications during the drilling and production periods. At the pre-drilling stage, specialists prepare a drilling strategy and determine optimal zones. That analysis allows experts to give the pilot-well location recommendations for risk reduction and to increase horizontal well drilling efficiency. At the real time stage, SGA expert team provides support for the drilling of horizontal wells in real time (24 hours a day/7 days a week). The cycle of seismic geological analysis ends with the post-drilling stage, where SGA model is compared with the drilling results and accuracy assessments of the seismic geological model to update the drilling strategy and issue recommendations for the future drilling.
