Annotation:
At present, the use of thermal-hydrodynamic processes mathematical modeling for quantitative interpretation of production logging studies data in operating wells is becoming a common practice for geophysical and oilfield service companies. This technique certainly expands the capabilities of well logging analysts to analyze logging data and allows them to issue better and more informative conclusions. The article is devoted to a discussion of the capabilities, limitations and experience of using PSim/ISim thermal-hydrodynamic simulators, developed by the team of the Geophysical Department of Ufa University of Science and Technology. It provides a description of simulators and examples of quantitative interpretation of logging data carried out in operating wells.
