Analytical estimation of a casing string temperature dynamics during induction heating

Annotation:

The authors of the article present the results of the process of heat and mass transfer in a well during induction heating of a metal column section. An analytical model has been developed that takes into account the liquid flow in the column and annulus space. To obtain the solution, the method of Laplace integral transform and numerical inversion using Stefest algorithm were used. The specific features of the casing string temperature change above the site heated by the inductor, which can be used to reveal the backflow and assess its intensity, are revealed
