Annotation:

The authors of the article consider naftalan oil purification using the adsorption method which has higher selectivity than other physical methods. As an adsorbent, components of various composition were prepared from bentonite, local raw material, and their adsorption properties were studied. One of the best technological properties of bentonite clay, which has a high absorption capacity as an adsorbent, is the presence of exchangeable sodium cations in montmorillonite. Therefore, the separation of oil fractions from naftalan oil and its waste by the adsorbent obtained from a local natural resource, in particular from bentonite, is an actual problem.
