Annotation:
The modern economy is actively moving into the digital dimension, and one of the key sectors that is undergoing significant changes under the pressure of new technologies is the oil and gas refining industry. The "Digital Economy" program opens up broad opportunities for introducing cutting-edge innovations. It should be noted that the basis of the digital economy is data, i. e. the more and more accurate information is obtained about the processes in the enterprise the more effectively these processes can be managed. In the context of oil refining, this means using big data analytics to optimize equipment performance, supply chains and predict safety performances.
