Annotation:

The author of the article studies the influence of the type of oil reservoir structure (pure oil and water-oil zones on the efficiency of medium-volume hydraulic fracturing in deviated wells). The analysis is performed using the example of YuV1 low-permeable formation of the South-Pokamas oil field in the Western Siberia.

The author of the article studies the geological structure features of the YuV1 object that affect the efficiency of hydraulic fracturing in differently saturated zone. The results of long-term development of the YuV1 object by the directional wells system are analyzed. The probable causes of the low oil recovery achieved at the object are indicated, the indicators of oil reserves development of the pure oil and water-oil are determined and the characteristics of oil displacement by water are built.

The geological and technical parameters of 42 hydraulic fracturing carried out at the YuV1 object are considered, including 23 in the pure oil wells and 19 in water-oil wells. The hydraulic fracturing efficiency (flow rate increase, duration of the effect, additional oil production, etc.) is studied for areas with different geological parameters. The success of the operations performed for saturation zones is assessed. Low efficiency of hydraulic fracturing in the directional wells in the in the pure oil wells of the YuV1 object, caused by the unfavorable geological structure, is established. It is proposed to organize testing of other types of well structures in the sites with water-oil wells – horizontal and multi-wells – without carrying out multi-stage hydraulic fracturing. Taking into account the low oil recovery factor, as well as significant current recoverable oil reserves in the drilled zones under conditions of sparse grid density (less than 30 ha/well), it is proposed to conduct massive sidetracking of horizontal wellbores.
