Annotation:

The authors of the article consider modern problems of legal regulation of methane production and coal deposits degassing in order to ensure the mining operations safety, the subsoil resources rational use and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. Along with the proposals for improving and developing legal regulation, individual administrative and economic measures are proposed aimed at increasing the rational use of energy resources and ensuring environmental protection from negative impacts.
