Annotation:
The authors of the article studied the influence of tectonic disturbances (faults) on the wells productivity of the Middle Devonian deposits of one of the fields in the Timan-Pechora oil and gas province. The conducted geological-field analysis revealed a significant impact of wells placement relative to tectonic disturbances on the wells operational characteristics. High productivity zones adjacent to tectonic disturbances (faults) were identified. The sizes of high productivity zones were estimated based on the well performance indicators. Production wells located in these zones are characterized by high initial flow rates and cumulative oil production as well as higher flow rate increases and additional production during conducting geological-technical measures than wells located in the zones remote from tectonic disturbances.
The obtained new knowledge about the specific features of reservoirs productivity distribution changed understanding of approaches to proposals of geological-technical measures formation for the objects under study, which will improve its technological and economic development indicators.
