Annotation:

The use of horizontal wells becomes an integral problem when developing complexly-composed deposits with hard-to-recover reserves. Consideration of the problems associated with intensification of horizontal well operation is becoming relevant at present. The Yurubcheno-Tokhomskoye field, studied by the authors of the article, is one of the largest fields in the Eastern Siberia. Its unique feature is presence of a complexly-composed ancient carbonate reservoir with natural fractures, high-capacity caverns, impermeable matrix, micro- and macro-cracks involved in fluid filtration. Horizontal wells are actively used when developing the field, thus allowing for high rates of hydrocarbons production, increasing wells productivity coefficient and fulfilling hydrocarbon production plans. The authors of the article present methods and techniques for increasing horizontal wells flow rates in the Riphean carbonate deposits and consider the methods and techniques to be used for restoring and increasing wells productivity.
