To the problem of correct substantiation of the oil properties in low-permeable reservoirs

Annotation:

The authors of the article solved the problem of correct substantiation of the properties of reservoir oil deposits in low-permeable reservoirs and list the consequences of the errors at the stage of deep samples selection and results of their studies analysis. Documents regulating the stages of field and laboratory studies as well as methods for assessing the representativeness of the results obtained are reviewed. Statistics on the degree of studying reservoir oil characteristics of three fields in the Western Siberia are given, demonstrating a low characterization of deposits by their own representative deep samples. Taking into account the revealed problem, the authors of the article raise the problem of the necessity to develop special approaches to the study of reservoir fluids properties in low-permeable reservoirs. A number of directions are proposed that allow increasing the representativeness of the information obtained. The article will be useful for specialists involved in the substantiation of reservoir fluids of the properties as well as using the relevant data when conducting various process calculations.
