Annotation:
A significant share of hydrocarbon reserves of Gazprom neft Group of Companies is confined to multiphase deposits. In this regard, it is required to use a systematic approach to the formation of a strategy for such deposits development, ensuring maximum production of oil reserves while simultaneously meeting the requirements for the rational use of associated petroleum gas in conditions of poorly developed field infrastructure. A possible way to solve these problems is to organize gas reinjection into the gas cap to maintain reservoir pressure and temporary gas storage. An injection site selection requires productive formations differentiation taking into account the type of the deposit, the reservoir characteristics (filtration and capacity properties), the nature of the rim distribution (marginal or underlying) as well as the ratio of phase mobility and anisotropy. This all has a direct impact on the final oil recovery factor and the economic attractiveness of the project.
The authors of the article considered the experience of gas reinjection at the fields of Gazprom neft group of companies, developed recommendations for assessing the applicability of the technology and substantiation of the criterion for assessing this process effectiveness.
