Annotation:

Carbonate fields development without a pressure maintenance system (PMS) causes a rapid decline of reservoir pressure, a decrease of wells production rates and a significant reduction of the oil recovery factor. Carbonate reservoirs are characterized by high heterogeneity and complex pore space structure, which complicates the oil displacement process.

The authors of the article consider the consequences of operating carbonate fields without PMS and analyze the injectivity of injection well No. 11. The test results showed low well injectivity (214,1 m³/day), indicating the necessity of research further continuation to improve water injection efficiency. It is recommended to continue pilot tests to achieve pore volume injection and conduct tracer studies.
