Annotation:
The authors of the article present the results of modeling a complex mining-geological section of the N field using the "RN-KIN" information system, "RN-SIGMA" and "RN-DRILLING CALCULATIONS" software packages.
The structural surface of the Tournaisian-Famennian reef deposit is presented with the designed well No. 30 (conditional number) for analyzing the mining-geological conditions of drilling.
The use of the "RN-SIGMA" software package allowed building an 1D geo-mechanical model of the designed well and analyzing the geo-mechanical risks of drilling. Intervals with incompatible drilling conditions in the Tournaisian-Famennian stage were determined – those are zones of rock collapses and drilling mud absorption.
Using the "RN-DRILLING CALCULATIONS" software package, the profile of the designed well was constructed and optimized, followed by further selection of the bottom hole assembly, drilling modes, flushing and cementing of the designed well for the analysis, assessment and prevention of technological risks.
The authors of the article note that using specialized information systems and software packages of information systems such as "RN-KIN", PC "RN-SIGMA" and PC "RN-DRILLING CALCULATIONS" ensures the solution of complex problems of increasing engineering calculations efficiency when designing wells construction.
