Annotation:

The Zhetibay field, which has been under development since the 1960s, faces challenges such as reservoir heterogeneity, low rock permeability, and complex hydrodynamic connectivity between injection and production wells. The authors of the article conducted a hydrodynamic analysis of fluid filtration and redistribution processes in the reservoir. Based on the analysis results of pressure measurements, well production rates, and hydrodynamic modeling, areas with reduced pressure and accelerated water flooding were identified. Recommendations were proposed to optimize the placement of injection wells, adjust the water injection system and implement enhanced oil recovery technologies. The implementation of these measures resulted in an additional oil production of 75 tons from 10 completed operations, confirming their effectiveness.
