Annotation:
The profile is one of the main characteristics of a well, which largely determines the success of well completion operations. When measuring a well profile, special "inclinometry" files are generated, which contain measurement results in the form of a dependence of the zenith and azimuth angle on the depth along the wellbore. The results of angles measurements contain errors that can significantly distort the results of calculation of the weight and loads acting on the pipe string in the well. To obtain more accurate estimates, it is required to perform special processing of measurement results in order to filter out random errors. Another urgent task is to simulate the real profile of the well, which will differ from the planned one due to the inevitable deviations during drilling. comparison of two profiles with each other is also an urgent problem, because sometimes it is necessary to determine the value of the actual profile deviation from the planned one or the minimum distance between two wells. The way how these problems are resolved in the Well Force ZERS 3.0 program, a demo version of which can be downloaded at http://programs.werymag.ru/Programs is described by the author of the article.
