Annotation:

The paper considers the problem of forming an optimal program for geological exploration works (hereinafter - GEW), taking into account technological, licensing, organizational and other restrictions. A method for formalizing the problem and its solution with some assumptions by the method of linear mixed-integer programming is proposed. The formalization of various options for target functions and the main limitations inherent in geological exploration projects is considered. An example is given that demonstrates the method of formalizing the problem. An information system developed for an automated search for the optimal solution to such problems is presented.
