Annotation:

The paper considers the main prerequisites for the development of corporate social and environmental responsibility in the gas industry and presents a comprehensive assessment of the gas industry role in the economy from the point of view of tax revenues to the Federal Budget. Investments in the social sphere and environmental protection are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the trends and instruments for the implementation of corporate social and environmental responsibility in the framework of achieving sustainable development goals.
