Annotation:
Sustainable development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation is one of the priority directions of the state policy. Evidence of this is the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 645 of October 26, 2020. The most important state document "On the Strategy for the Development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation and Ensuring National Security for the Period until 2035" was adopted. Already in 2021, the Russian Federation will take over the chairmanship of the Arctic Council, and as a leading Arctic power, Russia must offer the Arctic states and the entire international community an up-to-date agenda for sustainable development of the Arctic region that meets, first of all, the national interests of Russia and is perceived by the entire international community.
