ANALYSIS OF STAFF COSTS OF THE WORLD'S LARGEST OIL AND GAS CORPORATIONS

Annotation:

The paper discusses the concept of personnel costs, considers its definitions and main components. The LTC indicator for Russia and regions of the world has been compared in accordance with the methodology of the World Bank. The annual corporate reporting of the ten largest Russian and foreign oil and gas corporations for the period 2018-2019 is analyzed. Indicators characterizing the level of labor costs in the considered corporations are revealed. The specific level of remuneration per employee in the corporations has been calculated. The indicators are compared, conclusions are drawn about the significant differentiation of the level of wages in various corporations. Assumptions are put forward about the reasons and features of the detected differentiation, which can be the subject of further research.
