Annotation:

In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the uninterrupted supply of gas, heat and electricity to social and strategic facilities, residential buildings in cities and other localities is of particular importance. In this context, the rhythmic, stable operation of the oil and gas sectors becomes extremely important. The article analyzes the factors that have a significant impact on the functioning of this segment of the economy in the last year. The mechanisms of adaptation (organizational, financial, technological, sanitary and epidemiological, and some others) to modern challenges are identified. The role of the state in mitigating the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the industry is noted. The conclusion is made about the transition of companies in 2021 from adaptation to recovery and growth.
