Annotation:
The study considers the features of the "environmental risk" concept formation in relation to the Arctic zone. It is noted that the negative impact on the Arctic region fragile ecosystem is caused by the industrial activity of enterprises. The article provides an algorithm of environmental risks assessment, the cause of which is the factor of the production activities of oil and gas companies in the region.
