Annotation:

The article discusses the development prospects and the possibility of the energy sector decarbonization in China. The authors of the article analyze China's fuel and energy complex, paying special attention to alternative energy sources: the development of solar, wind and nuclear power plants, the prospects for partial abandonment of fossil energy sources on the way to achieving carbon neutrality by 2060.
